Lust (Luxuria)
Lust is an inordinate craving for the pleasures of the body.
I love the colours on this one, and her hair, I'd kill to get that hair (the little hippie inside me would scream of happiness). And I love that she is rebellious enough to wear a cross around the neck even though she is comitting a deadly sin.

Gluttony (Gula)
Gluttony is an inordinate desire to consume more than that which one requires.
Gluttony was the first of the sins I made.
I loved her until i saw how the other ones turned out, now I hate her. Mainly because of the skirt and the hair.

Greed (Avaritia)
Greed, also called Avarice or Covetousness, is the desire for material wealth or gain, ignoring the realm of the spiritual.
Greed was the second sin I made. Her dress is a bit inspired by 50's fashion. I love her hairdo, it's just so wierd. <3

Sloth (Acedia)
Sloth is the avoidance of physical or spiritual work.
Sloth is my favourite of all the sins, maybe it's because it's the sin I'm comitting most...
The symbolism in this doll is pretty simple, the shirt looks like a pajamas, wich suggests that he's sleeping a lot. And long blonde hair, fluffy feathers and soap-bubbles are also soft and easy things you can lay your energy and time on instead of working.

Wrath (Ira)
Wrath is inappropriate feelings of hatred and anger. Impatience with the law, or seeking revenge outside of justice, such as with unnecessary vigilantism. Wishing to do evil or harm to others.
Wrath is also one of my faves, I love that the skirt looks like fire and I love the whole design of her. she is very inspired by the original picture by Blackeri.

Envy (Individia)
Envy is the desire for others' traits, status, abilities or situation.
I love envy. The transperency of the overskirt-thing, the velvet top and the hair, she doesn't look too envious though...
The snake's name is Zahia

Pride (Superbia)
Pride is an excessive belief in one's own abilities, that interferes with the individual's recognition of the grace of God. It has been called the sin from which all others arise.
Pride is an 18th century lady, I really think that era matches the sin. Making the mirror was tricky, and the peacockfeathers were a nightmare.
